This is a comprehensive price list of all the lenses produced by Carl Zeiss Jena in 1934. It is much more than a simple price list but includes format size applicability, mount types, prices and angle of coverage information for all types and designs of photographic lenses produced by the Zeiss works at that time. It is a treasure trove of information. It consists of four pages packed with information. To translate the prices into today's dollars consider that in 1934 the world was on the gold standard. At that time an ounce of gold was price fixed at $22.00. This means that one 1934 dollar is equivalent to roughly $25.00 of today's dollars. Zeiss lenses have never been cheap.
