Super Rare Contax 1 Black Enamel 28mm Finder

This is an amazingly preserved super rare black enamel 28mm finder made for the Contax I camera. It will fit on any Contax including the Contax I, II, III, IIa and IIIa. The fact it is black enamel makes it exceedingly rare but what propels it into the virtually unknown category is that the chrome is bright chrome instead of the normal matte chrome or satin nickel. This is the only Zeiss finder of any type with bright chrome I've ever seen. It certainly answers all questions about the rare Contax 1 bodies with bright chrome plated face plates. They were certainly made that way by Zeiss.

This finder has been completely overhauled here and is in absolutely MINT optical condition. The black enamel and the chrome are in original condition and have not been repaired or "touched up' in any way.

This finder is in exceptional excellent + cosmetic condition showing only minimal storage marks. The lens surfaces are optically mint and the view through the finder is crisp and clear..

The model number of this finder is 432/3.

This finder has had exceptionally gentle care for all of its extremely long life. The pictures of it tell the tale of this stunning Zeiss item..

Acceptable payment forms are PayPal, personal check drawn on a bank in the USA, Bank check or money order denominated in USD, wire transfer. Foreign money orders and checks require a two week wait for bank clearance. Items come with a seven day inspection period commencing at the time of delivery after which the sale is final with no refund allowed. Shipping costs for returns for a refund are at the cost of the buyer. All shipments are sent fully insured and shipments to countries where shipping insurance is not offered are at the buyer's risk of loss or damage. Customs documents are honestly prepared. All taxes or duties are the responsibility of the buyer. All deliveries in the State of California require the payment of State Sales Tax. Shipment occurs after funds are verified to be received by the bank of the camera owner. Shipment is normally by USPS Express mail but shipment by Fedex is also available.
