Wonderful Contax Panflex and Tessar Close up Outfit

The Panflex close up device combined with the 105mm Panflex Tessar lens converts any Contax RF camera (I, Ii, III, IIa or IIIa) into a single lens reflex camera that will focus from extremely close up to infinity. It's the ideal Contax portrait and close up lens accessory. The lens is fully automatic stopping down from full open to the set aperture when the exposure is made. This picture shows it attached to a Contax IIa. The way a picture is taken is to depress the button just behind the cable release connection on the Panflex. This depresses the mirror and as soon as it is out of the focal plane the camera shutter is released. This Panflex is in exceptional condition. There is not a mark on it and the rubber eyecup is perfect. This Panflex has been completely overhauled and the mirror in it is perfect.

The Panflex has a standard Contax Rangefinder camera bayonet mount. The Contax 85mm f2.0 Sonnar, 85mm Triotar and the 135mm f3.5 Sonnar will mount on it and are very useful for close up photography.

The Panflex has a standard Contax Rangefinder camera body mount. It will fit onto any Contax or Nikon RF camera with a Contax mount.

The Panflex has a rotating tripod mount that allows the camera to be rotated when the Panflex is mounted on a tripod. The button with the white arrow unlocks the rotating mount.

 

The Panflex box is in perfect conation on all sides. This Panflex comes with both the very rare Zeiss Ikon double cable release and the Panflex cable release to be used to connect the Panflex release button to the camera body release button.:

 

The exceptionally rare Panflex 115mm f3.5 Panflex Tessar is in high excellent condition. Very few of these special lenses were made. This is a super sharp lens useful for the closest close ups and images taken at infinity. It is made for the Panflex and the focusing distance markings are only accurate when it is mounted on the Panflex.

Acceptable payment forms are PayPal, personal check drawn on a bank in the USA, Bank check or money order denominated in USD, wire transfer. Foreign money orders and checks require a two week wait for bank clearance. Items come with a seven day inspection period commencing at the time of delivery after which the sale is final with no refund allowed. Shipping costs for returns for a refund are at the cost of the buyer. All shipments are sent fully insured and shipments to countries where shipping insurance is not offered are at the buyer's risk of loss or damage. Customs documents are honestly prepared. All taxes or duties are the responsibility of the buyer. All deliveries in the State of California require the payment of State Sales Tax. Shipment occurs after funds are verified to be received by the bank of the camera owner. Shipment is normally by USPS Express mail but shipment by UPS or Fedex is also available.
